Join our esteemed team at Marietta Eye Clinic, a leading provider of comprehensive eye care in the Southeast. We are looking for full-time Ophthalmic/Contact Lens Technicians to join our team. Our practice is supported by 18 Ophthalmologists and 18 Optometrists across 15 fully equipped office locations. Our offices have recently been renovated to enhance patient comfort and experience. The Ophthalmic/Contact Lens Technician's responsibilities include welcoming patients professionally, gathering and documenting medical and ophthalmic patient history in the EHR system, and conducting fundamental clinical and diagnostic testing. The daily duties will also include recommending appropriate optical solutions based on physicians' prescriptions, accurately measuring patients, handling financial transactions, and creating a welcoming environment for both patients and our team at the Marietta Eye Clinic Candidate requirements: High school diploma or GED. Minimum one year of experience or training in optical. Preferably has customer service and patient interaction experience. Exceptional human relations skills, advanced communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills; fluent in English and able to write legibly. Physical Requirements: Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching. Ability to move throughout the office, remain standing for long periods of time, and lift heavy boxes and access high shelves.
