Job Description:
A company is looking for a Claims Specialist Bodily Injury.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a large inventory of complex claims to evaluate
compensability and liability
Conduct complex claims investigations to confirm coverage and
determine liability, compensability, and damages
Analyze and negotiate appropriate claim settlements/reserves within
prescribed authority
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and
Insurance, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience
A minimum of 9 years of experience in property and casualty claims
handling
Progress toward or completion of a professional designation such as
Associate in Claims (AIC) is preferred
Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims
handling procedures
Proven ability to handle confidential information with
discretion
