Start your Voyage - Apply Now Get to Know the Opportunity:Support the Real Estate Finance Department in the closing and post-closing of Commercial Mortgage LoansPlease Note: This position has been designated as a hybrid-office/home role. Details of your in-office schedule will be finalized with your manager. The Contributions You'll Make

  • Review loan commitments and prepare closing checklists
  • Arrange and set up files and directories
  • Coordinate closings with borrowers, correspondents, credit and production staff
  • Assist in facilitating the review of legal documentation with outside counsel and in-house attorneys
  • Coordinate the review and approval of closing diligence and other closing items with the credit team, portfolio management department, and external consultants
  • File items electronically as received
  • Maintain closing status reports
  • Schedule status calls and closings
  • Arrange for execution and delivery of loan documentation by lenders
  • Prepare and obtain authorization for wire transfers and releases of commitment fees
  • Run internal OFAC and KYC searches
  • Coordinate return of loan deposits to borrowers
  • Coordinate with post-closing department and outside counsel to ensure that original loan documents are received and properly filed and imaged and that all post-closing obligations are satisfied
  • Prepare and file mortgage loan satisfactions
  • Prepare and file UCC continuation and termination statements
  • Assist attorneys as needed with special projects (on-line research, document reviews, REO transactions, loan purchases and sales, etc.)
  • Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of department and division materials/information
  • Demonstrate positive team membership in all dealings with peers and management (cooperate, listen to and value opinions of others, support goals of the team)
  • Continuously suggest and implement improvements in procedures, report trends and problems
  • Participate in cross training, temporary assignments and special projects Minimum Knowledge & Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree or relatable experience
    • Experience in real estate closing process
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Interpersonal and teamwork skills
    • Organizational skills
    • Ability to manage multiple matters/files while maintaining a strong attention to detail
    • Computer skills including MS Word and Excel. Prior experience with Rockport CRE System or similar database systems a plus #LI-MG1 Compensation Pay Disclosure: Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives.
