Acquisition SpecialistSummary of position:
- The goal of this position is to maximize productivity and
improve client lives through effective recruitment and positive
organizational representation.
- Manages the HRMC staff recruitment process, effectively
facilitating front facing job ad platforms (Careers page,
Indeed.com, etc.) and the internal posting process.
- Sets up booths and man the job fair tables and at community
events
- Orders and maintains recruitment materials
- Personnel support functions include creating accurate
contracts, HRIS management, and agency staff documentation, and
ongoing collection of documents.JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESThis job

- Engage hiring supervisors and all staff in a positive,
professional manner with the goal of efficiency, effectiveness and
problem solving.
- Facilitates effective and accurate communication between
department team members.
- Actively participates in team meetings/discussions.
- Triages calls and emails to determine urgency and returns them
in a timely manner.
- Target to return urgent or important emails and internal phone
calls within 24 hours.
- All others within 3 business days is the goal.2. Recruitment
- Posts jobs on a list of job boards and through e3 within 24
hours of approval to fill.
- Post a list of open jobs for internal applicants on e3.
- Refreshes job posts to maintain under 30 days posting status
and as requested by supervisor
- Manages external recruiting efforts with vendors such as Indeed
including:
- Managing Sponsored jobs; removing and replacing ads to
circulate multiple positions through sponsorship.
- Vets incoming applications/resumes and forwards appropriate
applicants to hiring supervisors.
- Communicates with applicants through Indeed platform to
facilitate positive McNabb Center experience.
- Assists applicants to apply on McNabb Center's careers page to
facilitate the new hire process.
- Updates HR with new job descriptions; making sure to utilize
new job descriptions each time a job is posted or refreshed.
- Leads diversity recruiting efforts through creative action
steps including Job Target, positive relationships with 10 colleges
(including HBCUs) and 2 diversity fairs per year.
- Uses industry standard titles and base rates in job ads to
promote visibility.
- Participates in career fairs or other types of awareness events
to promote jobs and the Center soliciting materials through
Communication Department.
- Prepares recruitment fair materials (flyers, tabling supplies,
giveaways, etc.)
- Works with Communication Department to utilize social media
outlets to boost high need job vacancies.
- Maintains e3 accuracy with regard to open positions (new,
frozen and ending positions).
- Fixes job titles when supervisor requests.
- Assists supervisors with acquiring agency staff as needed to
fulfill their staffing needs.
- Interfaces with temporary staffing agencies to identify and
onboard qualified agency staff ensuring proper background checks
and other qualifications are complete and appropriate.
- Maintains agency staff files; transferring to permanent staff
files as needed.
- Do interviews and offers for prescribers.
- Works with recruitment firms to fill gaps in hiring.
- Completes weekly vacancy report.3. General HR tasks
- Enters staff data to online databases as assigned.
- Assists with maintaining accurate materials are located in
shared drive for all HR to utilize.
- Calculates and reports HR statistics for QAQI
- Assists in maintaining e3 accuracy.
- Serves as e3 helpdesk for workforce including timesheet help,
lock outs, etc.COMPENSATION:
- Starting salary for this position is approximately $24.73/hr
based on relevant experience and education.Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with some after-hours/weekend
required to complete tasks as needed.Travel:
- Travel required using personal vehicle to drive between sites,
career fairs, and to trainings.Equipment/Technology:
- Close computer work required.
- Must be able to complete a large amount of computer data entry
including management of applicant tracking system within HRIS.
- Ability to manage employer Indeed account (and other job
boards) and complete outward facing job ads.
- Required to answer emails within one business day.
- Knowledge of and ability to work effectively in Microsoft
Office products including Word, Outlook, PPT, Excel as well as
Adobe and be able to learn new software/programs quickly including
HRIS and Relias.QUALIFICATIONS - Chattanooga Talent Acquisition
SpecialistEducation:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Education or
related field, or Bachelor's or Master's Degree related to
behavioral sciences, with knowledge of adult learning, training
design, and training methodology, software and computer
proficiencies and recruitment and retention strategies.
- Knowledge of human resource management and employment law
preferred.Experience / Knowledge:
- One year of experience in recruitment preferred.
- Clinical experience and knowledge
preferred.Physical/Emotional/Social - Skills/Abilities:
- Must be able to have excellent attendance and start the workday
at assigned time.
- Long periods of sitting and standing required.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team with various
personalities, promoting a positive work culture.
- Must be able to see with correction, hear normal tones, and
talk on phone and talk in training.
- Must be able to drive to other sites to recruit.
- May need to work after hours or on weekends to recruit at
community events.
- Must have excellent people, role-modeling, and communication
skills.
- Must be comfortable with and have excellent skills in public
speaking.
- Ability to quickly learn, understand, and teach new
materials.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team, lead a team,
exhibit healthy leadership competencies, communicating with all
team members as needed to ensure successful HR processes.
- Must be willing and able to cover all vacancies or absences so
essential HR services are not disrupted.Location:
