We'll give you hands-on projects and the chance to create an immediate impact.What It's LikeThe Device Financing Platform team manages and enhances the company's device financing solutions, ensuring efficient operation and improved customer experience. We handle end-to-end device financing scenarios and collaborate with partner platforms to support ongoing initiatives and future projects. The Device Financing Platform team plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the device financing solutions, enhancing customer experience and supporting T-Mobile's strategic goals.What You'll DoAs a Software Engineer intern for Site Reliability, you will work closely with a team of experienced engineers and systems architects to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of large-scale, cloud-based applications and infrastructure.Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to design and develop software components focused on creating reliable and scalable systems.
• Participate in the architecture and design of various infrastructure components.
• Work on technical assignments that involve detecting issues, automatically handling failures, and preparing disaster recovery plans.
• Follow established procedures on routine work and seek guidance on new assignments.What It Takes
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of site reliability principles and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with required technologies such as Linux, CI/CD, DevOps concepts, Java, SQL, Microservices, Kubernetes, Data Analysis, BI, Network protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Minimum Qualifications
    • At least 18 years of age
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States
    • Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
    • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for InternshipsEmployer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour.
