The Finance IT team handles full Software Development Life Cycle
for all financial applications for AT&T. - This includes CFAS
and CORPFIN Oracle SaaS/PaaS applications. This team partners with
the Finance business team to develop and support financial
solutions to meet the needs of the business and ensure SOX
compliance. About The Job Supervises a target size team of 10 or
more IT employees (with at least 4 level 2 employees) that are
responsible for the development and delivery of IT related work
relative to the technical sub families including Agile, Application
Design and Programming, Business Support, Database, Systems
Architecture and Engineering, Systems Technical Support, and
Technical Disciplines of Software Delivery Proj/Prog Mgmt and
Technology Security. The ideal candidate must have hands on
software development experience, preferably with Oracle on-prem and
Cloud Financials. They must definitely have experience managing
software development and large initiatives with project teams
exceeding 50 people. Candidate would have full understanding of the
Software Development Life Cycle and be familiar with Oracle
SaaS/PaaS concepts and architecture, preferable with Oracle
Financial apps. Candidate should possess the ability to fully
understand current application landscape and functionality and be
able to evaluate and solution new projects/requirements that are
proposed. They should be able to produce executive level
presentations and diagrams and be able to lead project groups as
well as have excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
Candidate should be dependable and be able to instill confidence
and sense of pride into the team members and be able to help
develop and hone their skills. Candidate must be able to partner
with business clients, vendors, other application owners. Key Roles
and Responsibilities:
- Manages a team that provides IT system solutions and performs
functions involved in the development and integrity of new
applications or systems or the support and maintenance of existing
applications or systems.
- Coordinates software development lifecycle process. In
addition, may assist in the coordination, evaluation and
partnership with technology vendors, outside consultants and
internal dotted line resources as needed.
- Works closely with other business areas, as well as other IT
organizations, to identify and quantify business issues associated
with specific projects, develop and implement business strategy,
and assist in setting strategic technical direction.
- May assist in providing leadership for projects, including such
activities as collaborating with the client to develop business
cases, defining business and technical requirements, preparing
detailed plans and schedules, calculating resource allocation and
assignment, providing ongoing coordination and tracking of capital
and expense funding and preparing actual vs. budget analysis.
- Supervises and develops a team of subordinates, conducts joint
goal setting and performance reviews, as well as assists in the
allocation of resources, financial responsibilities and some
long-range planning. Required Qualifications:
- Requires 8+ years experience years managing Software
development
- Ability to manage several initiatives at the same time
- Budget Management
- Resource Management Desired Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering,
Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math;
Developer or Data Analytics nanodegree; or equivalent
experience.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Saas ERP and SaaS EPM application
suites. Experience/knowledge of financial business processes.
Experience/knowledge of the CFAS financial applications.
Understanding of basic Oracle SaaS/PaaS concepts This is a hybrid
role requiring at least 3 days in office presence per week. This
role is available in Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA. Full-time remote
work is not offered. Our Assoc Director-Technology II, earns
between $155,400.00-$233,200.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the

starting salary within this range may depend on geography,

Weekly Hours: 40 Time Type: Regular Location: Alpharetta, Georgia
Salary Range: $155,400.00 - $261,100.00 It is the policy of
