create it.About the Job:This role is responsible for supervising a
team of data pipeline engineers and Power BI developers with the
goal of producing valuable insights to the CTX organization around
Agile measurements such a flow metrics, quality, Planning Interval
views, etc. This is a highly collaborative role interfacing with
both stakeholders and peer teamsTechnical Oversight:
- Code Reviews: Conducting code reviews to ensure best practices
and coding standards are followed
- Data Pipeline Management: Overseeing the development and
maintenance of ETL/ELT processes
- BI Development: Supervising the creation and maintenance of
Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models
- Troubleshooting: Assisting in troubleshooting technical issues
and providing solutions
- Skill Development: Identifying training needs and organizing
workshops or training sessions for team members
- Mentorship: Providing guidance and mentoring to junior
developers and engineers
- Knowledge Sharing: Encouraging knowledge sharing within the
team through regular meetings or documentationTeam Management and
Coordination:
- Daily Stand-ups: Conducting daily stand-up meetings to review
progress, discuss obstacles, and plan daily tasks utilizing a
kanban methodology
- Task Assignment: Allocating tasks and projects based on team
members' skills and workload
- Performance Monitoring: Monitoring the performance of team
members and providing regular feedback
- Conflict Resolution: Addressing any interpersonal issues or
conflicts within the team promptly
- Documentation: Ensuring proper documentation of all processes,
projects, and codeProject Management:
- Project Planning: Developing project plans, timelines, and
milestones for data and BI initiatives
- Progress Tracking: Ensuring projects are on track and making
adjustments as needed
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicating with stakeholders to
gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring the quality of deliverables meets
the organization's standards---Process Improvement:
- Best Practices: Implementing and promoting best practices in
data management and BI development
- Process Optimization: Continuously seeking ways to optimize
workflows and processes for better efficiency
- Tool Evaluation: Evaluating and recommending new tools or
technologies that can improve team performance---Compliance and
Security:
- Data Governance: Ensuring compliance with data governance
policies and standards
- Security Protocols: Implementing and monitoring security
protocols to protect sensitive data---Collaboration:
- Collaboration across Business Operations on metrics and
measurements to ensure data quality, validate findings, and share
recommended actions
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with other
departments such as Chief Security Office, Chief Data Office, Agile
CoE and management to align on goals and requirementsInnovation and
Strategy:
- Strategic Planning: Contributing to the strategic planning of
the data and analytics roadmap
- Innovation: Encouraging innovative solutions and the adoption
of new technologies within the teamQualifications :Technical Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or
related field
- Minimum of Three (3) years of experience with Azure Cloud
- Minimum of Three (3) years of experience in building and
optimizing Power BI reports and dashboards
- Experience in custom ETL design, implementation, and
maintenance
- Experience with schema design and dimensional data
modeling
- Experience with Python, SCALA, SPARK, .NET
- Experience with SQL programming
- Experience with machine learning and automation
- Experience with AI is not required but a plusDesired skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with
demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a
clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders
- Experience with data presentation and visualization best
practices
- Experience with PowerBI
- Comprehensive understanding of scaled agile methodologies and
nomenclature
- Experience in client engagements, interpreting client's
business challenges, and recommendations for business
stakeholders
- Experience developing visualization such as reports, charts,
tables, and other visual aids in support of findings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a
demonstrable passion to dig into terabytes of data and quickly
construct toolsOur Assoc Director-Technology II, earns between
$174,100.00-$261,100.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other

starting salary within this range may depend on geography,
