Solutions (PS) we design, develop, and manufacture state-of-the-art
systems and technology that enable our customers to execute their
mission. We are thought leaders in the application of seeker,
guidance, and control technologies, and we have a place for you as
a Senior Software Engineer at our Huntsville, Alabama facility.We
are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to help us
create the world's most advanced solutions in precision guided
munitions and missiles. We develop and incorporate algorithms along
with real-time state machines to help our customers achieve their
mission. Our software implementations transform GPS, radar, and
infrared signals to enable weapons to precisely find their target
and keep our warfighters safe as they execute their missions.
Specifically, an engineer familiar with implementing time critical
state machines used to control guidance actuator systems in
precision munitions. An engineer familiar with control interfaces
and motor control. This is an opportunity for the right engineer to
grow in this capacity while having opportunities to work at a
higher seeker algorithm level when those skills are also needed.You
will be collaborating with Systems, Hardware, and Test engineers in
one or more aspects of our solutions. You will be an integral part
of a growing dynamic software development team performing design,
implementation, and integration of typically C and C++ based
embedded software in a Linux development environment utilizing a
DevSecOps Software Factory approach. In this exciting role, you

US citizenship status.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering,
electrical engineering, information systems, or related field
- Secret Security Clearance (active within the last two
years)
- Experience or exposure to designing and implementing real-time
embedded C solutions for control actuation systems.
- Experience writing software for SPI, UART, I2C, RS422/485 or
other related serial interfaces
- Experience developing in a Linux environmentPreferred
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with motor commutation and control (trap drive, sine
drive, field oriented controls, sensorless commutation
techniques)
- Experience with model-based control algorithms
implementation
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink auto-coding
- Brushless DC motor control experience
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Chain and/or GitLab
- Experience working in a team using an Agile development
approach Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $83900 -
$142600Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
