Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Team Leader to oversee the Prepared Foods department at Whole Foods Market.Responsibilities
  • Assist the Team Leader in managing daily operations, including profitability, expense control, and labor management.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and mentorship to ensure exceptional customer service and sales growth.
  • Work closely with Team Leaders to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Act as the point person and departmental leader in the absence of the Team Leader, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Drive retail execution excellence, fostering a positive team environment and promoting Whole Foods Market's core values.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.Requirements
    • 18+ months of Culinary Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving sales growth and profitability.
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a standing position for long periods.Benefits
