Job Description:
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join
our team at Bon Appetit - Emory University. As a key member of our
culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting with the
overall success of our food program and overseeing culinary
functions.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of
related culinary experience, including 1 year at the management
level. They will be knowledgeable about food and industry trends,
with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, safety, food cost
controls, and presentation.The Sous Chef will assist in
coordinating and participating in the preparation and cooking of
various food items, assist with planning and creating menus, and
roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing
and culinary team.They will also assist with managing cost controls
and controlling expenditure, and perform other duties as
