  • Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 29, Patient Ratios: 4:1, Unit staffing description: Dayshift unit secretary and 2-3 PCTs depending on census. Nightshift has 2-3 PCTs depending on census.

    • Cardiac/telemetry experience
    • PCU and/or critical care experience
    • Advanced skills needed: IV insertion, chest tube management, DHT insertion/management, tracheostomy experience, CVC management, EKG, Foley management, early patient mobility
    • Procedures performed on unit: Foley placement, IV insertion, wound vac management, DKA management, EKGs, DHT/NG placement, patient ambulation, ADLs
      • Schedule Information
      • 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
      • Self-scheduling (within reason to allow balanced staffing)
      • Schedule will be finalized 2 weeks in advance
      • Can accommodate block scheduling for night shift
      • Floating policy: Travel RNs float first
