• Certification Details
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification is required.
• BLS - Basic Life Support Certification is required.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification may be required.
  • Job Details
  • Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision.
  • Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
  • Manager will interview
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit accepts first time travelers
  • PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics - CVOR
  • REQUIRED SKILLS: ACLS, BCLS, Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic with the ability to scrub are all hard requirements. Heart Transplant is highly preferred.
  • UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis EPIC, SBAR
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum experience of 2 years required.
    • Unit accepts first-time travelers.
    • ACLS, BCLS required.
    • Skills in Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic, and the ability to scrub are all hard requirements.
    • Heart Transplant experience is highly preferred.
      • Schedule Information
      • RTO: Max 7 days
      • BLOCK or SELF SCHEDULING not available
      • WEEKENDS: Rotation
      • CALL REQUIREMENTS: Yes/variable - Typically one weekday/call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks
      • HOLIDAYS: Required to work if one major holiday falls in the assignment period, two if two holidays fall in the period, and two if three major holidays fall in the period.
      • Major Holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Day

        • Patient Population includes Adults to Geriatrics.
          • Additional Details
          • Photo ID Required
          • Compliance with pre-start requirements is mandatory for starting on time.
          • Delay in compliance may lead to a push back in the start date due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule.
