  • Government contract opportunities Medical Surgical Registered Nurse MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 year - Unit accepts first time travelers PATIENT POPULATION: Infants to Geriatrics RATIO: 1:5-6 UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: RTO: MAX 7 days, Blocked Scheduling Not Guaranteed HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving/Black Friday Christmas Eve/Christmas Day New Years Eve/New Years Day WEEKENDS: Every Other - 4 shifts/month or hospital needs FLOATING: yes - based on needs of the hospital, may entail floating to CNA/tech role COMPLIANCE: Full compliance required to start on time, if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
