Piedmont Heart Institute is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the cardiac team providing excellent patient care to our surgical patients. You will be joining a team of thirteen advanced practice providers and solely focus on cardiac surgery. This is a full time opportunity. In this role you will:

• Round on postop patients
• Provide office consults one day per week with a designated surgeon
• EVH and chest closure in the OR
• Thoracentesis and chest tube insertion and care

    REQUIREMENTS Qualified candidates will have 1-2 years of cardiac surgery/EVH experience. Masters, Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification or Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
