Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Verify proper clinician orders for procedures and obtain complete clinical histories
• Assist with providing safe, age-appropriate care to patients by performing CT scan exams according to department procedures
• Follow established procedures for the administration of contrast media and ensure that all studies have proper patient identification
• Review CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results and release patients
• Respond to emergency situations and provide for the restocking of the crash cart and maintenance of life support equipmentRequirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology
  • ARRT Radiography certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiologyWorking Conditions:The CT Technologist will work in a hospital setting, assisting with CT scans and other radiology procedures. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have strong communication skills.
