TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Interventional Radiology RN in Marietta, Georgia, 30060 About The Position Job Title: RN Interventional - Vascular Institute Job Specialty: Registered Nurse / Licensed - Inpatient Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day - 4x10 - 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience required License: Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Must-Have: - Completion of V-ARU competencies - Understanding and compliance with pre-procedural verification/time out forms Job Description: - Perform a wide variety of clinical procedures requiring judgment, ingenuity, and initiative for diagnosing or treating diseases. - Implement the nursing process based on expanded knowledge and experience. - Provide patient care with an understanding of age-specific needs. - Address the biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients and families. - Deliver patient care in complex, multiple-problem situations using critical thinking skills. - Provide pre- and post-procedure care for invasive, interventional, and surgical procedures. - Verify patient ID using two identifiers and check documentation for clarity. - Transport patients and ensure privacy and comfort. - Maintain departmental records and comply with standards and regulations. - Assist in other medical imaging areas and provide training for staff as needed. - Meet Customer Service Guidelines and provide patient education and post-procedural care instructions. - Flexible with hours to meet department needs, including on-call coverage during nights, weekends, and holidays. - Complete necessary documentation and case reviews with appropriate physicians as needed.
