A company is looking for a Manager of Software Engineering -
Search Platform.
Key Responsibilities
Hire, manage, support, and develop a team of engineers for the
search platform
Build and execute a long-term roadmap to evolve and scale search
platform capabilities
Establish trust and accountability within teams while fostering a
positive work environment
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience managing and leading a high-output
engineering team
5+ years of experience building and scaling distributed systems
Strong expertise in OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, Solr, or similar
search engine technologies
Experience designing and managing scalable, high-performance search
infrastructure
Demonstrated leadership skills in building a high-performing
engineering team
