Associate Director, Global Change Program - Georgia Institute of Technology Multidisciplinary Faculty PositionAssociate Director - Global Change Program The Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a multidisciplinary non-tenure-track faculty position to serve as Associate Director of the Global Change Program. The Global Change Program was established in 2018 to build Georgia Tech's capacity to address global challenges, including climate change, through innovative education and research initiatives. Reporting to the Director of the Global Change Program, the Associate Director provides executive-level support for the research and academic missions of the Program. Working collaboratively with the Director and the rest of the Global Change Program staff, as well as faculty, students, and staff from across Georgia Tech, the Associate Director will help shape the strategic direction of the Global Change Program. The Associate Director will also interface with external partners across Atlanta and beyond. Key assets for the position are strong interpersonal skills, willingness to facilitate the work of collaborators and like-minded organizations, and readiness to take initiative when required. This Academic Professional position is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. Applications will be considered beginning December 1, 2019, but the search will continue until January 22, 2020. Minimum Qualifications:Preferred qualifications include a PhD or other terminal degree in discipline relevant to the work of the Global Change Program, 2-4 years of related work experience, experience with fund-raising (federal grants, foundations, etc.), and experience working with diverse stakeholders. An earned doctorate is required by the start of the appointment, and a background check must be completed prior to employment.
