Regulatory Compliance Manager - Chemical Industry
We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our team at
a major global company in the Atlanta metropolitan area due to an
upcoming retirement. This role involves ensuring compliance with
chemical control and other product-related regulations,
coordinating PSRA activities, and advocating for legislative
matters within the Americas. This position provides a competitive

Compensation: $135,000.00 - $155,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze development of chemical-related regulations
within the region to develop strategies mitigating consequences and
exploring new product/application opportunities.
- Develop and maintain PSRA processes and systems to ensure
compliance with new and existing regulations.
- Prepare and submit necessary notifications or registration
dossiers to authorities ensuring the compliant marketing of company
products.
- Assess and communicate compliance status of company products to
both internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Interface with authorities for ongoing notifications,
clarifications requests, or during inspections.
- Collaborate with the Global Hazard Communication team to ensure
compliance of Hazcom documents like MSDS and product labels with
regional regulations.
- Advise the PSRA Director on regional participation in business
teams, trade associations, and advocacy groups.
- Manage Product Stewardship Compliance Form submissions across
products and plants.
- Coordinate regulatory activities for multiple plant
products.
- Provide regulatory training to business partners to enhance
compliance and product knowledge.
- Oversee Product Regulatory Compliance during the Management of
Change process.
- Ensure Product Regulatory Compliance for new products through
the AIMS process.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering,
Toxicology, or a closely related field.
- 10+ years of industry experience in the Chemical sector,
preferably with background in coatings or inks.
- 5+ years specializing in US and international chemical
regulatory compliance.
- Strong command of English with effective communication
skills.
- Proven capability in technical management or as a senior
technical specialist centered around chemical regulatory
compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with FDA or other American or international chemical
control laws and regulations.
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese in addition to
English.
- Petrochemical industry experience.
- Exposure to Hazcom and related regulatory
requirements.
- Strong command of organic and inorganic chemistry
applications.

- Capable of leading and training diverse teams.
