a rewarding career at Grady!SUMMARYThe Anesthetist Manager oversees
scheduling, payroll and supports day to day operations of the
Anesthesia service at the direction of the Chief Anesthetist. The
position administers general anesthesia and sedation to all types
of patients and for all types of procedures at the discretion of
the Chief of Anesthesiology. The position will also be responsible
for pre-anesthetic evaluation, anesthetic management and post
anesthetic evaluation of surgical patients and other special
procedures. Performs airway and pain management. Operates all
equipment involved in anesthesia.QUALIFICATIONSCERTIFIED REGISTERED
NURSE ANESTHETIST: Master's degree from an accredited nurse
anesthesia educational program. Georgia Licensed Registered
Professional Nurse and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists
(CRNAs) or certified by an appropriate credentialing process and
three (3) years of related experience required.PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
ANESTHETIST: Master's degree from a CAAHEP-accredited educational
program for anesthesiologist assistants. Georgia Licensed as a
Physician Assistant & Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (AA-C)
or certified by an appropriate credentialing process and three (3)
