About the Role The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for Actuarial Reserving and Loss Analytics. This leadership role is pivotal, with a focus on developing new models, leading projects within the Reserving and Loss Analytics team, and providing support for the quarterly financial reporting process. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to, overseeing the development of new reserving and loss analytics models, leading and managing projects within the team, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial reporting process. The role demands a professional with a strong background in commercial and specialty lines, as well as reinsurance, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of actuaries.The ideal candidate for this position at the company will have a Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) with a minimum of 10 years of actuarial experience, including at least 5 years in loss analytics or reserving. Strong leadership skills are essential, as is a deep knowledge of a wide range of commercial and specialty lines, including reinsurance. The role requires a strategic thinker who can not only contribute to the technical aspects of the work but also provide guidance and support to the team.
