Sodexo is seeking a General Manager - Food for Clark Atlanta University located in Atlanta, Georgia. Clark Atlanta University is a HBCU that is located next to Spelman and Morehouse College. The General Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day food operations of this high-volume account. This hands-on General Manager will be responsible for managing P&L, client interaction, leading and directing a team of managers, and hourly union employees.The successful candidate will:

• have oversight of day-to-day operations;
  
• deliver high quality food service;
  
• achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  
• develop strategic plans;
  
• create a positive environment;
  
• ensure Sodexo standards are met.

• have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
  
• can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  
• prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;
  
• demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC) and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience. This does not apply to external candidates.
