The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in mechanical design engineering, possessing the ability to bring creative solutions to the table. This role will be pivotal in driving the design and development of mechanical systems to meet the needs of our diverse client base. Our Mechanical Design Engineer will work on a variety of projects, from conceptual design to implementation and manufacturing. Responsibilities:1. Design and develop mechanical systems and components.2. Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.3. Conduct analyses to evaluate mechanical systems and components for strength, flexibility, safety, and cost-effectiveness.4. Ensure all designs are in compliance with industry codes and standards.5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and prototype mechanical systems.6. Manage client relationships, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.7. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members.8. Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards.9. Develop innovative design methodologies to enhance the performance and efficiency of mechanical systems.10. Participate in project meetings and perform technical presentations.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.2. A minimum of 8+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering.3. Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.4. Proficient in 3D CAD software and other engineering design tools.5. Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and fabrication methods.6. Strong knowledge of industry codes and safety standards.7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.8. Proven experience in client management and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.9. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.10. Strong team player with the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.11. Ability to innovate and think creatively to develop new mechanical designs.Interested in hearing more?
