Job Description:
A company is looking for a Principal Optical Engineer, Waveguide
Design.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and validation of innovative waveguide designs
using custom software
Drive collaboration across teams to integrate waveguide designs
into AR display systems
Identify and address challenges in diffractive optics and
nano-fabrication technologies
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in waveguide optics or related fields
Expert knowledge in diffractive optics and hands-on experience in
design and fabrication
Extensive experience in Python for scientific computing and optical
modeling
Deep understanding of nano-patterning techniques and optical
lithography
Advanced proficiency in diffractive optics modeling tools such as
S4 and COMSOL
