About this role
The primary roles and responsibilities of the Manufacturing Test
Engineer (Electronics) position are supporting all aspects of the
manufacturing test process, in Automated Logic's clean modern
factory in Kennesaw, GA. The manufacturing test process starts with
participating in design reviews on new products and assisting in
the creation and implementation of test plans. This also includes
developing test strategies for the product including specifying
test equipment and writing test code using National Instruments
TestStand and LabWindows/CVI, C# Dotnet, and Linux. Test Plan
implementation also includes specifying test fixtures and if needed
designing additional circuits to aid in testing the product.
Effective Test Plan implementation shall include meeting Takt Time,
Quality, and First Pass Yield goals. Secondary responsibilities
include analyzing production test/assembly processes and
implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and
quality; calibrating/maintaining test fixtures and equipment for
production testing of electronic assemblies; and resolution of
production items related to production tests. Required tasks will
include leading root cause analysis for test failures; creating
documentation for testing and assembly of electronic assemblies;
training production associates on production test processes, and
implementation of Engineering Change Orders.
The Manufacturing Test Engineer (Electronics) will work onsite in
Kennesaw, GA.
