Bachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringWorking knowledge of heat transfer principles, strength of materials, materials selection, design for vibration environmentsExperience in product design and development and related processesExperience with mechanical engineering development software toolsLeadership of small design teamsStrong written and verbal communication skills including development of engineering documentation and presentationsEligible to obtain a DOD Security ClearancePreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Knowledge/experience with optomechanical designs & developmentsExperience with lasers, optics, and/or related IR technologiesKnowledge of MIL specs & standards, industry standards including ASTM, SAE, DOExperience with the design and manufacture of electronic circuit card assembliesANSYS Workbench/Mechanical, PTC Creo, MATLAB/Simulink, Siemens NX, ANSYS Icepak experienceKnowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) principlesPrior use of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing practicesActive DoD security clearancePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $115100 - $195700Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
