TriVector Services, Inc., is seeking qualified candidates to fill our Senior GN&C Engineer position.Description:The Senior Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) engineer provides expertise to NASA's Human Landing System (HLS) Program at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). We are seeking individuals with 20+ years of experience in flight control systems and analysis with demonstrated leadership experience. This position will be the Deputy GNC Discipline Lead for HLS and act as a main point of contact for commercial partners and cross-programs (Orion, Gateway, and Space Launch System).Minimum Qualifications: Leadership of technical teams involved in the planning, execution and completion of design analysis cycles and trade studies.Proven ability to aid in the management of a diverse GNC engineering team.Experience developing and evaluating GNC subsystem requirements.Experience identifying GNC system risks and developing alternative approaches to mitigate any risks.Ability to develop and analyze 6-DOF dynamics simulation models used for GNC systems analysis and validation.Experience working with multiple spacecraft disciples to identify and promote solutions.Engage in multi-disciplinary vehicle systems investigations and provide assessments.Experienced in managing resources and leveraging support from multiple organizations with GNC expertise.Ability to assess hardware and software qualification plans in as the programs finalizes a Certification of Flight.Experience in developing approaches to evaluate providers GNC subsystem and develop independent analyses as warranted. Experience with verification and validation of technical products.Experienced in briefing senior leadership.Preferred Qualifications:Postgraduate degree in physics or an engineering discipline.15 Years of experience working as a GNC engineer.Experience in aerodynamics, sensors and actuators.Demonstrated project or professional experience in launch vehicle and/or spacecraft system.Capable of solving complex problems with little to no supervision on schedule as an individual or as a member of an integrated team.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Proven Leadership capability.Experience working with international partners and/or commercial providers.
