MAKITA Corporation of America, a worldwide leading producer of high-quality power tools, is seeking an Accounting Tech to become a part of our team!Responsibilities:Perform all functions involved in processing invoicesPrepare weekly checks and wire payments.File and organize all related accounts payable documents.Process hourly payroll weekly.Perform other duties as required in the Accounting and Finance DepartmentQualifications:Required:High school graduate or equivalent.Two (2) years of recent accounts payable experience.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other PC applications.Accurate data entry skills.Preferred:Two-year degree with at least two years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.Good organizational skills, communication skills (written and verbal), and problem-solving skills.Working knowledge of MRP system.Experience with ADP Workforce Now or another HRIS / payroll program.Self-motivated, team player.Equal Opportunity StatementThe Company is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
